Descendants of both Thomas & Alison (GRIEVE) of Innerwick, and William of Crail, have a close genetic match and there is a tentative paper trail that joins these lineages at Robert.
The additional matches to the Earlston/Wanton Walls Runciman family (lineage 1a), and that to Alexander of Meikle Pinkerton (lineage 1c) are harder to connect in.
