Although the representative of the John and May (WEATHERLY) line does match Lineage 1, others assumed to belong to the same Thomas and Jane (SIMPSON) RUNCIMAN line do not match, including the rep from this William's son William.
So the more dna evidence that can be gathered the better to help piece this family together more accurately.
However it does rather look like the line as either died, or daughtered out apart from the first cousins of the current participant.
Would love to be proven wrong and to hear from a direct male line RUNCIMAN descendant of William & Janet (PAXTON) RUNCIMAN.
