John Runciman? was born bet. 1775 - 1783 prob. Edinburgh, MLN, SCT, Date a guess from knowing three snippets of information - father Alexander was back in Edinburgh by 1771 to take over the Academy of Drawing in the College of Edinburgh, that he was "an infant" when Alexander died in 1785, and by 1802 John had gone to London "some years since", as a silversmith.1,4,2Last Edited | 5 Dec 2014 |
